What is a healthy mouth?

Dr. Maddahi talks about the Oral Micro biome and what a healthy mouth really is!

So what is a healthy mouth? A healthy mouth means so many different things to so many different people.

People think it's maybe when I don't have cavities, when I have pink gums and my gums don't bleed.

Some people say it's when I have fresh breath or I don't have bad breath. It can be all of those things, but I'm gonna talk to you with regards to the ecosystem that's actually in their mouth or the microbiome. The oral microbiome is very special in the sense that there is bacterial competition.

So good bacteria and bad bacteria are competing without causing any damage. So the first thing we want to do is protect that oral micro biome.

How are we gonna protect it by not killing bacteria?

All the products that you see on the market from the leading brands are advertising that they kill 99.99% of the germs. More than ninety eight percent of the bacteria in our mouth are healthy protective bacteria and they're protecting us and our mouth's. And yet we go and indiscriminately kill them.

So what we got to do in order to create healthy bacteria is first protect the ecosystem! We need to make sure we're not killing bacteria, but what are we actually doing?

We are going to neutralize the toxins and that's what separates Luminuex Oral Essentials™ products from any other product.

We don't kill healthy bacteria. We don't kill any bacteria. We neutralize the toxins of the bad bacteria, and we are certified non-toxic. That means we don't kill any healthy cells.
